Message from the Superintendent

Welcome to the West Allegheny School District. One of the most important aspects of any community is the strength of its schools. Residents of Findlay, North Fayette, and Oakdale can be very proud of the schools in West Allegheny School District.  We have a proud tradition of excellence and will continue our commitment to excel, becoming one of the top ranking school districts in Pennsylvania.  We will continue to further improve the quality of educational programs and services ensuring that all students have access to a rigorous pre-college course of study and advanced placement courses.  Every West Allegheny student will graduate career and/or college ready.  

All of these accomplishments find their origin in a responsible board of school directors, a dedicated administrative team, professional teachers who pride themselves on meeting the diverse needs of all students, and a support staff that is committed to providing the best in ancillary services.  We value the West Allegheny broader community. West Allegheny realizes that an exemplary school district is only possible with a collaborative partnership with families and community members.  Together, we will accomplish excellence for all of our students.
