The West Allegheny School Board of Directors is soliciting letters
of interest and resumes from interested individuals in filling a board member
vacancy. Applicants must be a resident
of Region 2, part of North Fayette Township, for at least one year, be at least
18 years of age, be a registered voter and a
person of “good moral character” with no felony convictions or other crimes of
a moral nature. Letters and resumes must
be received by the Board Secretary, Alyssa Athanas, in care of the Board
President, Debra A. Mirich, at West Allegheny School District, 110 Bruno Lane,

West Allegheny School District is excited to partner with Monark Student Transportation and for a Day of Community Caring this Saturday, August 18 from 9 to 11 a.m. when our staff will be visiting community neighborhoods collecting canned goods and nonperishables for the West Allegheny Food Pantry.
