Microsoft Teams

Who should use Teams?  Staff and students in grades K-12

What is it?

How can I access it?

Teams is an application used for video collaboration by Microsoft. It utilizes Microsoft Copilot, a generative AI platform, to streamline activities.

In Teams, Copilot acts like a smart assistant during and after meetings. It can:
  • Generate meeting summaries with key points, decisions, and action items.
  • Answer questions about past chats or meetings, even if you missed them.
  • Help plan lessons or projects by organizing ideas and resources in real time within Copilot in Teams
  • Create quick polls or quizzes to engage students or gather feedback from staff.

Teams can be accessed through the installed app on your device, or through your web browser.

Students:
Teams can be accessed through individual links through your teacher's Canvas Pages
