MUSICAL TICKETS NOW ON SALE!

Tickets for your preferred reserved seats for Footloose can now be purchased online HERE at $15 each for Adults and $10 each for Students & Seniors. Four performances of this high-energy 80's dance musical are scheduled at 7 PM on Thursday, March 13, Friday, March 14, and Saturday, March 15, along with a matinee on Sunday, March 16, at 2 PM.  For ADA seating, call (724) 695-5245. Tickets may not be purchased over the phone, and in person sales are only available one hour prior to showtime in the high school lobby.
 
The hit 1984 movie, Footloose, showcased Kevin Bacon as Ren, Lori Singer as Ariel, and John Lithgow as Rev. Shaw Moore. The musical version ran on Broadway from 1998-2000, followed by a movie remake in 2011. WA performed Footloose in 2011. The Tony-nominated hit songs, "Footloose" and "Let's Hear It for the Boy", remain just as fun today. Contact Mr. McBurney, Producer, with questions.

WAHS Students Recognized for AP & ECIHSA Achievement

West Allegheny was excited to recognize 226 students at its annual High School Awards Ceremony that recognizes student academic achievement. Students and their families were invited to the evening event that celebrated those who excelled at Advanced Placement and Early College in High School Academy courses during the 2023-2024 school year.

Art Department Earns Outstanding Visual Arts Community Award

We are so incredibly proud of our very talented Art Department for being one of only four school districts in Pennsylvania to be honored with the award of Outstanding Visual Arts Community for the fifth consecutive year. District representatives Leah Shuck, Mike Short, Brittney Counihan, and Emma Popp traveled to the Pennsylvania Art Educators Association Conference in Hershey to receive the award.
