  • Ride-All-Day Event Day tickets are $35.99 each (additional processing fee will apply).  There is no limit to the number that can be purchased.  Flexible date ticket cost is $38.99.
  • There will be no busing provided to Kennywood.

District Earns Lighthouse Distinction

West Allegheny has been named a ‘Lighthouse’ district by AASA, The School Superintendents Association, in partnership with the Successful Practices Network within the category of Future Ready Learners: Differentiated Targeted Supports and Focus on Removing Barriers. As one of only 13 districts nationwide to earn an excellence distinction, it recognizes West Allegheny’s Early College In High School Academy (ECIHSA) as a model of positive change for other districts.

WA Earns US News & World Report Best High School

For the fourth consecutive year West Allegheny High School has been recognized as a U.S. News & World Report Best High School for 2022. West Allegheny ranked 2,926 out of 17,843 high schools nationally, 107 out of 676 statewide, and 20 out of 124 in the region.  These rankings are based on six factors: college readiness, reading and math proficiency, reading and math performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth and graduation rates.
