The West Allegheny Board of School Directors is currently undertaking a complete review of the existing WASD Policy Manual. Throughout this process, some board policies will be updated, other policies will be retired, and additional, new policies will be adopted.
As these changes are formalized by the Board, they will be added to this site. Please be aware that policy categorization and numbering will also be changing during this process. Where applicable, new policy language will supersede old policy language.
Once the conversion process is completed, the district’s online policy manual will be accessed through BoardDocs; there is a tab for “Policy.” During the conversion process, the current policies that remain active will be maintained here on the website while the new policies adopted will be available through BoardDocs.
