The Peer Mediation Program involves selected 5th grade students who act as mediators in minor peer disputes. The 5^th graders are selected and participate in a two day training in the summer, with follow up meetings during the school year. Students participate in leadership activities as well as being trained in problem solving.

     Mediators lead the students step by step through their problem and help them reach a solution. Mediators will also spend time during the 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd grade recess/lunch to assist with issues that may arise.
