West Allegheny Virtual Academy’s Summer School Credit Recovery Program offers courses for students in 6-12 who were not able to achieve a passing grade during the school year. Online courses are supervised by highly qualified West Allegheny teachers. The courses are aligned to the WA curriculum, PA Core Standards and the assessment anchors of the PSSA and Keystone Exams

SUMMER ENRICHMENT 

West Allegheny Virtual Academy’s Summer Enrichment Program is offered to students who wish to advance academically by taking courses over the summer. These courses will fulfill the core subject requirement for graduation. Each one (1) credit course is a full-year of study and students should allow enough time to complete the work during the shorter summer session. 

NOTE: Registration information for Summer Enrichment courses will be available mid-March. All requests for Summer Enrichment courses must be approved by a building administrator before enrollment can be processed.
